Sometimes it takes more than one try!

I know you don't all receive notifications of the comment posts.  I wanted to share this one with the group.

Carol's Post:
Day 6's topic is MIRACLE. This immediately reminded me of a little robin I released back into the wild this summer. You can watch her story via this link on Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ptk6cxAl6k8

Carol, I really liked the way you filmed this, it was fun to see Release Attempt # 1 (sometimes it takes more than 1 try), #2 and then see the robin come back to the saftety of her cage for love and food.

Everyday we have to just keep moving a little bit more out of our comfort zone.  As we do, amazing things happen.  Sometimes we need more than 1 attempt.  And we always need to have a safe place to come back to for food and love.

All kinds of little miracles and synchronicities are showing up today.  I am having fun!

OMG, these videos are right on the money. Sometimes it takes more than one try to recognize or right to be and give miracles an opportunity or accept miracles, even when our name is Miracles, we go back to the cage! Deep stuff!

Today was the first day of my being a caretaker to my Grandmother, who has Alzheimers that is rapidly progressing and she can't be home alone anymore. Talk about stepping outside of my comfort zone. It was uncomfortable, very scary, sad, and completely overwhelming. But I know that only growth can come from this and I am SO LUCKY to have the opportunity to do it. (I have temporarily moved back home from Colorado to be with her)....it is a "miracle" for me that I have her in my life! Praying for strength and more miracles!

Oops..one more thing, I hugged two trees today! I have NEVER done that before (can you believe it?) and it felt great!....until the neighbors pulled up while I was in mid embrace. ;) I think I'll be a treehugger much more often!

Bridget as I said in the group email. I will hold you and your grandmother in a healing place as you both complete this leg of your journey together. Thanks for opening up to the group. And you hugged 2 trees and were seen doing it. 10,000 bonus points! LOL

Michelle - I am only just back from my 3 week trip in Eastern Europe and very jetlagged, but I can’t tell you how elated I am to have this challenge happening now. Your materials are so thoughtful; I feel my heart just popping wide open. Realize how much paddling upstream I have been doing again - even on my trip.

Carol, I love this video. Made me tear up - such a beautiful metaphor.

Bridget - I am so moved by your courage and grace. Even though we have been friends since we were in-utero, I feel particularly blessed to be your “buddy” during this time - and love that we have this group as broader support guidance. And I am a tree hugger from way back. I’ve had tree friends in all of the major places I’ve lived, but interestingly not since moving back to Chicago five+ years ago. I need to remedy that! I love the use of the tree in our guided meditation, what a gift, Michelle. I have always had such an affinity for trees – even the tattoo on my neck! I also just bought a wood carving of a tree with owls in it from Bratislava that I adore that will be a great reminder.

Happy to be on this journey with all of you!

Having my first day start with “Letting Go” is a hard one for me. Not sure I can turn the boat, but hoping I can drop the oars :)

Welcome back Jenna. So happy to have you be part of the group. If you can get into the stream, the flow, it will turn the boat for you. Dropping the oars is GREAT!
Rest up. You have been on a long journey.

Thank you so much Michelle and Jen! I feel more support right now than I have in a LONG time and I realize how much I've needed it. I'm SO happy to be on this journey with both of you--and everyone else!! xo
