I got started on my Creative Hands project last week during one of my visits to my Grandma's house. My grandma has Alzheimer's and I am her caretaker a few days a week. I am always trying to think of interesting things to do with her.....we listen to a lot of music, do A LOT of singing ;), read books, look through old photo albums...but we had yet to do anything artistic. I thought this would be the perfect opportunity! So I brought along my sketch pad and some colored pencils and helped my Grandma trace her hand and make some shapes that she could color in. She seemed happy and interested in the project, although she didn't understand exactly why we were doing it. :) I'm attaching a picture of our "works in progress" and then my finished product! Please everyone keep posting! I'd love to see what everyone is up to in the weeks to come!!

That is so awesome Bridgett! You know her soul is remembering all you do for her an no doubt that love and caring will go with her in the non-physical. Its an inspiration! God Bless you!
Bridget, I really love this and the story about you with your grandma is wonderful. She doesn't understand why we are doing this :o)
